AbortionIsMurder.Info exists first to defend unborn humans in all their stages of development. AbortionIsMurder.Info is a ministry outreach of Courageous Christians United. As traditional Christians, we are made up of a number of various denominations. However, we do not stress the particular non-essential issues of those denominations. We attempt to promote what C.S. Lewis referred to as Mere Christianity.
Regardless of whether one affirms traditional Christianity or not, we are willing to work with anyone to defend unborn humans. Many atheists even advocate for them (e.g., SecularProLife.org), and we fully support their efforts.
What we also offer, though, that many other organizations don't is forgiveness and peace with God through the Lord Jesus Christ. As such, we offer ultimate healing for abortion. Yes, abortion is murder. That is the fact. It is the killing of an innocent human life. Until one realizes this, one cannot offer or accept the healing that comes by walking in the truth or the light. 1 John 1:5-10 says,
This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all. If we claim to have fellowship with him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live out the truth. But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin. If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. If we claim we have not sinned, we make him out to be a liar and his word is not in us.
1 John 2:3-6 goes on to say, "We know that we have come to know him if we keep his commands. Whoever says, 'I know him,' but does not do what he commands is a liar, and the truth is not in that person. But if anyone obeys his word, love for God is truly made complete in them. This is how we know we are in him: Whoever claims to live in him must live as Jesus did." This is why Jesus said, "If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples, and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free” (Jn. 8:31-2).
Jesus is the truth (Jn. 14:6) and He commands His followers to do unto others as they would have done unto themselves (Matthew 7:12). Jesus advocates on behalf of "the least of these my brethren" (Mat. 25:40-45). The "least of these" certainly includes those tiniest of human beings who cannot defend themselves. Why? Because God is the one who wonderfully and fearfully knit them together in their mothers's wombs (Psalm 139:13-14). We are not our own; we are God's. No one else has a right to destroy the innocent. The body growing inside the mother's body is not her body. It's the Lord's to do with as He pleases. It is God who gives and it is God who takes away (Job 1:21).
This is why a mother cannot just do whatever with her own body. Of course, descriptively speaking she can do whatever she can, but that is different from her prescriptively doing whatever she can. We all know she should not do whatever with her own body. This should be obvious, since no one would claim a mother has a right to use her own body to murder her one-year-old. If we all know that she can't legally and morally do that, then we also ought to support her not legally and morally doing that to her baby prior to birth.
Unfortunately, today here in America, the mother has a legal right to murder her own child prior to birth (with some late-term exceptions depending on the state). However, a legal right does not entail a moral right. Why? Because not all laws are good. If you doubt that, then do you still hold to the 1857 Supreme Court Dred Scott decision which treated slaves as only three-fifths a person and should therefore not be free from slavery? Probably not.
As a result, we should all follow what Psalm 82:3-4 says: "Defend the weak and the fatherless; uphold the cause of the poor and the oppressed. Rescue the weak and the needy; deliver them from the hand of the wicked." Proverbs 24:11-12 says: "Rescue those being led away to death; hold back those staggering toward slaughter. If you say, 'But we knew nothing about this,' does not he who weighs the heart perceive it? Does not he who guards your life know it? Will he not repay everyone according to what they have done?" Proverbs 31:8-9 says, "Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute. Speak up and judge fairly; defend the rights of the poor and needy.”
God the Son died for all. He loves you that much. He offers you grace, mercy, and healing for all your sins... including murdering and not defending the unborn. Please don't let your pride keep you away from what He has for you. Don't attempt to justify and love your sin. You need to repent and come home. "But unless you repent, you will all likewise perish" (Luke 13:3 and 5).
